Spain's 2010 World Cup Squad: Victor Valdes, Pedro Rodriguez, Javi Martinez In Final Team

Vincente del Bosque has submitted his 30-man, provisional World Cup squad to FIFA, with the goalkeeper controversy surrounding Barcelona's Victor Valdes complicated by Spain bringing in the Catalan 'keeper along with emerging starlet David De Gea, the 19-year-old from Atletico Madrid.

They will join captain Iker Casillas, Pepe Reina, and Diego López, all of whom where brought in for Spain's last friendlies.

One surprise in defense was Osasuna's César Azpilicueta, the 20-year-old wing back looking to make the squad as an understudy to Segio Ramos.  Alvaro Arbeloa, also named to the team, could also fill that role, while starting center half Carles Puyol, also called-in, can also play out right.

Other defenders called in:  Raul Albiol, Joan Capdevila, Carlos Marchena and Gerard Pique.

In the midfield there were no surprises.  Barcelona is well represented by Xavi Hernandez, Andres Iniesta and Sergio Busquets.  That trio is joined by Xabi Alonso, Cesc Fabregas, Javi Martinez, Marcos Senna, David Silva, Santi Carzola, Jesus Navas and Juan Mata.

At forward, Barcelona's Pedro gets called-in, as does Athletic Bilbao's Fernando Llorente.  The rest of the group are regulars:  Daniel Guiza, Alvaro Negredo, Fernando Torres and David Villa.
