HP dv6z Quad Edition arrives

HP has spanking new notebooks from their Pavilion range for you to choose from – where they will be known as the dv6z Quad Edition. Relying on AMD’s speedier Llano-based chips that will start from 1.4GHz quad A6-3400M, going up all the way to a 1.9GHz A8-3530MX, these are able to be given a shot in the arm to hit 2.3GHz and 2.6GHz, respectively. With the fusion (pun intended) of Fusion technology, you will get full HD video playback that is as smooth as a baby’s bottom – no dropped framerates for sure.

Other hardware specifications include 16GB RAM (now that’s a whole lot for sure!), a 1TB hard drive, a Blu-ray hard drive. It doesn’t matter which model you decide to bring home – all of them will feature Beats audio, 3D-capable HDMI 1.4 video out and a couple of USB 3.0 ports that ought to keep you ahead of the upgrade curve for some time to come.
